We offer a complimentary consultation either in person, over the phone or via Zoom and design a program together. Next, we carefully select and introduce a qualified care companion who will help your loved one and make things easier for your family life.
We try to be as consistent as possible to make sure that you are seeing the same friendly face each time. There are times when a Care Companion may not be available, so in these situations we do our best to provide another care companion that will meet your needs. We are always available to talk to you about your needs, your Care Companion, and the type of care you are looking for.
Yes. Our staffing coordinators have the experience and knowledge to recommend the best caregiver who has the personality, skills and availability to best help you. If at any time you would like to request another care companion, we will gladly make the necessary changes.
Yes. Our Care Companions are compassionate and patient with all clients, and we are experienced in helping those with Alzheimer’s and Dementia.
Our goal is to help your loved ones remain in place, as long as is safely possible. Our services are designed to assist with everyday tasks and are custom tailored to meet your individual needs.
We provide care in many ways, including grocery shopping, meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, mail processing, doctor’s visits, respite care, help using the computer, companionship, errands, transportation and more.
We have a minimum of one 3-hour shift per week for our services. For transportation and assistance, our minimum number of hours per shift is 2 hours.
The number of hours for in home assistance is 3 hours, up to 24 hours per day.
We provide services 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Yes. Each Daughter for Hire Care Companion is bonded and insured.
Mohawk Valley includes Oneida, Herkimer, and Madison counties.
The Capital District includes Albany, Schenectady, Saratoga and Rennselear counties.
