Compassionate Caregivers in the Mohawk Valley
In home respite care for your loved ones
Given the choice, most of us want to stay in our own homes as we age. Sometimes though, people need a little bit of help to do so. That’s where Daughter for Hire comes in.
Daughter for Hire provides non-medical, in-home respite caregiver services that assist the elderly, give their families peace of mind, and make it possible for seniors to age in place enjoying their golden years. Whether it’s laundry, meal preparation, light housekeeping or assistance with medical appointments, our bonded and insured care companions are there to help.

Companionship
What a difference it makes to have someone with you. To travel with, for an activity, or simply to share a meal with. Our companions for seniors are there when you can’t be.
Personal Support & Companion Care
We give families peace of mind.
At Daughter for Hire, we provide reliable, compassionate support to help make daily routines feel a little easier, and a lot more comfortable while providing a steady, caring presence throughout the day or night.
From everyday routines to meaningful companionship, we’re there with gentle guidance, reminders, and support that you can count on. Our goal is to support daily needs while preserving independence, dignity, and a sense of normalcy.
It all begins with a complimentary in-home visit, where we take the time to listen and understand what’s really going on and what matters most to your family. From there, we create a personalized plan that fits naturally into your loved one’s routines and preferences, so they can continue to feel safe, supported, and truly at home.
We focus on connection, safety and consistency, the kind that brings real peace of mind and ensures nothing important is overlooked.
If you’re not quite sure what level of support is needed, that’s completely okay. Many families start there. We’re always available to talk things through, understand your situation, and help you figure out the right next step.

We help seniors remain in their own homes, as long as is safely possible.
